Nawaz Hussain Sikander successfully represented the Sponsors (Techno Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd and Cmc Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti di Ravenna) and the Concessionaire in the negotiation and finalization of the PPP Agreement of Sukkur – Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) Project.
The M6 Motorway Project is Pakistan’s largest PPP infrastructure project of PKR 307 Billion. The Project was structured by the Public Private Partnership Authority under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode in collaboration with the National Highway Authority. The Project will complete the missing link of the north-south (Peshawar-Karachi) motorway network. The Project is expected to bring economic benefits in terms of saving significant travel time, travel costs, and lifting the socio-economic profile of the region.
NHS’s team comprising Imran Nawaz Memon (Partner), Mehrunnissa Katpar (Managing Associate), Muhammad Usman Siddiqui and Umed A. Khamisani (Associates) represented the Concessionaire in the transaction.
