Nawaz Hussain Sikander, acted for a client, a well-known and reputed infrastructure contractor, in Suit No. 1510 of 2020 for recovery of PKR 1 Billion from the Government of Sindh for the works done by the Contractor in the Lining of Rohri Main Canal RD Project.
The High Court of Sindh vide Order dated March 05, 2021, was pleased to order the payment of PKR 1 Billion to the Contractor. However, after being argued over several dates before different benches, the Government of Sindh still refused to implement the Order dated March 05, 2021. As a result, the High Court vide Order dated March 15, 2023, was pleased to attach the salary of the Chief Secretary of Sindh.
NHS’s team comprising Ahmed Ali Hussain (Partner) and Syed Zaeem Hyder Musavi (Associate Partner) represented the Contractor in this matter.
