The School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh after a competitive bidding process selected a consortium formed by Nawaz Hussain Sikander with EY Ford Rhodes, Pakistan and Management Development Company for transaction advisory services for Non – Formal Education Project. The Project has been conceived by the School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh under Public Private Partnership mode with a project cost of PKR 3 Billion. The objective of the Project is to establish non-formal education centers in Sindh that would address the issue of out-of-school children and adult illiteracy in the province of Sindh.
NHS envisages to lead the preparation, finalization and hoisting of request for proposal, the forms of documents to be submitted with bid submission, concession agreement(s) and third-party monitoring agreement(s). Moreover, NHS shall assist the School Education & Literacy Department in the legal evaluation of various bids submitted by the bidders in respect of the Non-Formal Education Project.
NHS’s team comprising Imran Nawaz Memon (Partner), Mehrunnissa Katpar (Managing Associate) and Mahnoor Haider (Associate) are advising the Client for this Project.
